'23 Reveal Party planned April 6

by Sean Dunlap

While the Homochitto River Festival and Market is still seven months away, the much-anticipated prelude celebration — known simply as the “Reveal Party” — will be held at 6 p.m., Thursday, April 6.

The meet-and-eat gathering will be held at Ridge Point Ranch, located at 4522 U.S. Highway 84 East in Franklin County between the Monroe and Eddiceton communities.

Organizers plan to unveil the musical acts that will be scheduled to perform during the popular celebration of the arts held in downtown Meadville in the fall.

Tickets for the “Reveal Party,” which is typically a sell-out, are $30 for singles and $50 for couples, and include the cost of the food and refreshments that will be served.

Tickets can be purchased online by visiting www.homochittoriverfestival.org and clicking on the “Buy Reveal Party tickets” link on the page.

This year’s Homochitto River Festival is slated for Saturday, Oct. 28.

Planners have already opened early-bird registration for vendors wishing to sign-up to take part in this year’s festival.

Booth fees are:

• Food vendors (limited spaces available) — $75 for one space, $150 for two spaces and $225 for three spaces.

• Food vendors (wanting to sell drinks, excluding beer and Coca-Cola or Pepsi products) — $200.

• Non-food sites for arts and crafts displays with electricity — $55 for one space and $110 for two spaces.

• Non-food sites for arts and crafts displays with no electricity — $45 for one space and $90 for two spaces.

Vendor booth rental fees are non-refundable with participants asked to maintain and occupy their spaces until at least 5 p.m., the day of the festival.
