Funeral services for Jeffrey Dean Jones, 59, were held at noon on Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2021, at Ebeneezer United Methodist Church in Franklin County’s McCall Creek community with Brother Toby Jones officiating.

Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Visitation was held from 11 a.m., until the time of service on Dec. 8 at the church.

Mr. Jones was born June 8, 1962, and passed away on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James and Lola Jones; and his maternal grandparents, Jack and Bernice Brewer.

Survivors include his son, Tyson Jones of Dallas; his mother, Gwendolyn Sue Brewer of Smithdale, his father, Donald Jones, and stepmother, Gail Jones, of Tatum; his brothers, Cody Jones, and wife, Debbie Jones, of Tatum, and Tyler Jones and wife, Erica Jones, of Arlington; his nephews, Lance Drake, and wife, Katie Drake, of Nacogdoches, and Reese Jones of Arlington; his niece, Kenzie Painter, and husband, Clayton Painter, of Tatum; and many other beloved relatives and friends.
