Funeral services for Donald Wayne Ferguson, 75, of Meadville, will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 9, 2023, at Praise Cathedral Church of God in Meadville with Bishop Larry Edwards officiating.

Interment will follow in Byrd’s Chapel Cemetery in Meadville.

Visitation will be held from noon until the time of service on Thursday, Feb. 9 at the church.

He was born to Lee and Ella Mae Ferguson of Meadville on Feb. 23, 1947, and passed away on Friday, Feb. 3, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his three brothers, Kenneth Ferguson, Chester Ferguson and Bill Ferguson, and his two sisters, Jean McManus and Janice Steele.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Anita Simpson Ferguson; his son, Lee Ferguson and his wife, Trudy, of Magnolia, Texas; his daughter, Lisa Robinson and her husband, Michael, of Meadville; his daughter, Jessica Elkins and her husband, Tucker, of Madison; his son, John Ferguson and his wife, Courtney, of Meadville, his nine grandchildren and one grandson-in-law, Kara Krus and her husband, Kaleb, of Willis, Texas, Kylie, Emily and Dylan Robinson of Meadville, Austin and Presley Elkins of Madison and Eden, Henry and Stevie Lynn Ferguson of Meadville; his step-mother-in-law, Tish Simpson of Meadville; his sister, Jeri Ferguson Holmes of Brandon; and a host of nieces and nephews.
