FC Cattlemen's Association sets membership meeting on Feb. 2

The Franklin County Cattlemen’s Association has announced plans to hold its next membership meeting at 6 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 2 at the Mississippi State University Franklin County Extension Service office in Meadville.

The meeting is sponsored by GreenPoint AG and a meal will be provided for those preregistered to participate in the gathering.

Dr. Josh Maples, associate professor and Extension Service economist in the MSU Department of Agricultural Economics will be the featured speaker for the event.

Maples’ discussion topic will involve current trends in U.S. cattle markets and will spotlight livestock and meat supply chain issues.
