Funeral services for JoAnn McClendon, 83, of McComb, were held at 11 a.m., Monday, Jan. 16, 2023, at Rabenhorst Funeral Home and Crematory East in Baton Rouge, La.

Interment was in Resthaven Gardens of Memory in Baton Rouge.

Visitation was held from 9:30 a.m., until the time of service on Monday, Jan. 16 at the funeral home.

She was born to Carl and Maxine Holland on June 21, 1939, in Meadville, and after high school graduation moved to Baton Rouge where she had a life-long career as a bookkeeper. She passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Raymond Holland.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Arliss McClendon; her children, Cecil McClendon (Patti), Todd McClendon (Christina) and Wanda Allphin (Johnnie); her grandchildren, Amy Vest, Alissa Jenkins, Lacey Anderson, Mallory Burleigh, Stephanie McClendon, Abigail McClendon and Trey McClendon; her great-grandchildren, Gabrielle Martin, Macy Martin, Gray Butler, Haven Jenkins, Tate Jenkins, James Anderson, Charlie Jo Anderson (namesake) and Michael Toole; her brother, the Rev. Herman Holland; her sister, Martha Boyd; and numerous nieces and nephews.
