Jeremy Ray Jordan

Memorial services for Jeremy Ray Jordan, 40, of Bude, will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023, at Mount Olive Baptist Church in the Smithdale community with Pastors Marvin Howard and Eric Moak officiating.
He was born to Billy R. Jordan and Leslie Partin Chaisson on July 15, 1982, in Baton Rouge, La., and passed away Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022, at Franklin County Memorial Hospital in Meadville.
Mr. Jordan worked as a Laboratory Information Systems Supervisor for Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb and was of the Baptist faith.
He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, brother and son. He also loved his job and the people he worked with.
Additionally, he enjoyed the outdoors, working on cars, Louisiana State University football and spending time with his children.
He will be sadly missed by all those who loved him.
He was preceded in death by his mother and his step-father, Kenneth Chaisson.
Survivors include his wife, Hope Griffin Jordan; his four sons, Eli, Clayton, Jaxon and Rocky; his father, Billy R. Jordan (Lynn); his sister, Melissa Jordan; his four step-sisters, Kelsey Codding, Kayla McDowell, Kymberli McDowell and Kayli McDowell; his nephew, Byron Cothren (Amanda); his niece, Dixie Wilkerson (Logan); his great-nephew, Tucker Cothren; along with a host of family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Mr. Jordan’s name to MORA (Mississippi Organ Recovery Agency), 4400 Lakeland Drive, Flowood, MS 39232 (Telephone: 601-933-1000 or 1-800-690-8878) or to the American Heart Association at National Center, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231.
