Franklin County's family-friendly Halloween event set Friday, Oct. 28

Franklin County’s family-friendly Halloween festivities — centered around Meadville and Bude — are scheduled to take place on Friday, Oct. 28.

Among local businesses and organizations that will be distributing candy and treats between 3 and 6 p.m., will include:

Also on Friday, Oct. 28, the Meadville United Methodist Church will, once again, host its fall festival and carnival at Halford Law Firm, located at 85 Main Street West in Meadville, beginning at 5 p.m. and ending around 8 p.m.

Planned activities for families will include hay rides, face painting, bean bag toss, bocce ball, bowling, corn hole, limbo, Plinko, ring toss and sack races.

Those participating in the related pumpkin carving contest are asked to bring their pumpkin by Halford Law Firm prior to 6 p.m., on Oct. 28 for consideration by those judging the event.
