Nancy was a kind, genuine and funny soul, who made an impact on everyone she met. She lived her life surrounded by family, friends, love and laughter. Her spirit will live on eternally in the hearts and minds of those who knew and loved her.
As Nancy’s favorite song said, “What A Wonderful World,” but we think those who knew Nancy will agree it will be a little less wonderful without her around.
Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Richard Freeman; her children, Todd Kurtz, Greg Kurtz, Eric Kurtz, Shawn Kurtz (Jamey), Angel Cooper (Jason), Nancy Parker (Pat Lee) and Stephanie Rabalais (Steve); her loving siblings; her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her nieces and nephews.
She had one grandson, Carson Kurtz, who preceded her in death.
Pallbearers were Todd Kurtz, Greg Kurtz, Eric Kurtz, Shawn Kurtz, Jason Cooper and Pat Lee Parker, and honorary pallbearer was Angel Cooper.
