Funeral services for Daisy Elois Warren, 88, of Union Church, were held at noon on Friday, Oct. 7, 2022, at Philadelphia Baptist Church in Brookhaven with Brother Landon Smith officiating.

Interment was in the Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation was held from 10 a.m., until the time of service at the church.

She was born to Major Lessing and Winnie Lee Furr Lessing in Union Church on Jan. 1, 1934, and passed away on Monday, Oct. 3, 2022, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred Warren; her in-laws, Fred Sr., and Mary Warren; her son, Fred William Warren; and her daughter-in-law, Cindy Warren.

Survivors include her children, Ray Warren, Jean Strait (Danny) and Freda Warren; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her brother, Kenneth Lessing (Charlotte); and a host of family and friends.
