Funeral services for Barbara Godbold, 83, of Eddiceton, were held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2022, at Eddiceton Baptist Church with the Rev. Matthew Wallace officiating.

Interment was in the Eddiceton Cemetery.

Visitation was held from 9 a.m., until the time of service on Wednesday, Oct. 5 at the church.

She was born to Alvie and Ada Pickering White in Lincoln County on Feb. 6, 1939, and passed away on Monday, Oct. 3, 2022, at her residence.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Peyton Earl Godbold; her parents; and her brothers, A.C. White and Curt Wilson Sr. 

Survivors include her daughters, Janet Godbold Spring and Cathy Godbold Perkins; her sister, Helen Griffin; her brother, Ben Wilkinson; her five grandchildren; and her eight great-grandchildren.
