Thirteen Franklin County High School varsity football players picked up post-season recognition for their efforts during the recently completed gridiron season.

Six players — JaMarlin Green, Parker Marcengill, Jamal Coleman, Tyrese O’Neal, Donovan Moore and Keyundre Felton — earned first-team nods.

Zuccaro Blackmore, Amarion Wilson and Re’Shon Baker were selected to the second-team list.

Bradley Washington, Ross O’Quinn, Ramontae Cameron and Larry Pernell were named as honorable mentions to the listings.

“I’m very proud of and for these 13 guys who were well deserving of the recognition,” FCHS Head Football Coach B.J. Smithhart said.

“Eight of those on this list will likely return to the line-up next season, and I think that bodes well for us in terms of talent and experience.

“The remainder on the list are seniors that really contributed a great deal to our program in terms of athleticism and leadership. We’re appreciative for all that they have done for us and we’ll miss them.”
