Honor Your Veterans In Our America 250 Section
June 08, 2026
Residents are being offered the chance to honor their loved ones who served in the military by reserving space in the upcoming America 250 section being published by this newspaper.
The section will feature various articles about how America operates, but the main feature will be hundreds of photos of area Veterans, including their name, rank, years of service and other information. These are being published free of charge in the section.
"All of the Veterans photos will be the same size, and they will be listed in alphabetical order," said Publisher Paul Keane. "We also want to give residents a chance to honor their Veteran in more detail by purchasing space in the section.
"There is no obligation to purchase space, and the photos of the Veterans will run regardless of if space was purchased by the family. We do hope that some families will purchase space, though, as that will help us cover the costs of producing this special section."
Various sizes and prices are available, and the ads purchased can contain additional information about the Veteran and his or her service. Ads can be customized to fit the needs of any budget while honoring the Veteran in a way the family wishes.
Again, there is no obligation and Veteran photos submitted will still be published free of charge regardless of the purchase of space by family members.
Deadline to reserve your space is Monday, June 15.
