Franklin County High School’s basketball program will host three days of youth hoops camp Tuesday, June 28 through Thursday, June 30 in the campus gymnasium.

Head Basketball Coach Rickey Van O’Quinn said the camp, offered at no cost, will be open to both local boys and girls from kindergarten through eighth grade and will spotlight fundamental individual and team skills.

“Registration is now under way through Monday, June 27 and the camp will run from 8 to 11:30 a.m., Tuesday through Thursday,” he added.

“We will have three divisions for participants — Bullpups for those in kindergarten through third graders; Junior Bulldogs for fourth through sixth graders; and Bulldogs for seventh and eighth graders.”

Parents will need to complete the registration form (at any FC school offices) and return it prior to the start of camp.

On-site concessions (snacks and drinks) will be sold during the event.

Participants are also reminded to dress comfortably and will need to wear shoes suitable for the basketball court.
