HILTON RAYFORD ZUMBRO

Funeral services for Hilton Rayford Zumbro, 81, of Meadville, were 
conducted on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2025 from New Hope Baptist Church, with 
Rev. Calvin Wactor officiating.

Interment followed at the church cemetery.

Born on Nov. 14, 1944 in Franklin County to Dunk Zumbro and Rosalie 
Bonds Zumbro, he enjoyed hunting and cooking at the deer camp. He was a 
loving son, brother, uncle and friend.

He died on Sunday, Dec. 21, 2025 at Franklin County Memorial Hospital.

He is survived by his sister, Susan Pearl McFarland; his nieces and 
their respective spouses, Teresa Sullivan and Kristi and Jody Love; his 
nephew and his spouse, Bryan and Jennifer McFarland; his sisters-in-law, 
Patsy Zumbro and Doris Zumbro; and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dunk and Rosalie Zumbro; his 
sister, Marjorie Emfinger; and his brothers, Perry Zumbro and Howard 
Zumbro.

Pallbearers were C.L. Leonard, Grant Sullivan, Tony Alderman, Rex 
Sullivan, Cameron Buckles and Isaac Iles. Honorary pallbearers were 
Phillip Goodson, Phillip Zumbro and Buddy Ruff Rushing.

The family requests memorials in his name to be made to New Hope Baptist 
Church Cemetery Funda at New Hope Baptist Church, Meadville, MS 39653
