Funeral services for Louise Halford Combs, 80, were conducted on
Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025 from Roxie Baptist Church in Roxie, with Dr.
Darby Combs officiating.

Born in Franklin County on Aug. 27, 1945 to Wesley Halford and Helen
Louise Rollins Halford, she died on Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2025 at King's
Daughters Medical Center with her loving family by her side.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Gerald Combs; a son and
daughter-in-law, Darby and Becky Combs; a daughter and son-in-law, Debi
Combs Walker and her husband, Dean Walker; her sisters and
brothers-in-law, Maxine and James Buie, Doris and John Foy and Bonnie
McGeever; her grandchildren and their respective spouses, Joey and
Camilla, Ashley and Blake and Rachel; her great-grandchildren, Allie and
Dmitri; her brothers-in-law, Lavon and Peggy Combs and Ernie Platt; her
sister-in-law, Peggy and Pat McCullough and a host of family and
friends.
