GRADIE JONES

Oct. 4, 1936-June 7, 2025

A celebration of life for Gradie Jones, 88, was conducted on Wednesday, 
June 11, 2025 from Riverview Family.

Interment followed at Midway Cemetery in Meadville.

Born on Oct. 4, 1936 to the late Kie and Beatrice Jones, he attended 
Lighthouse Baptist Church. He worked for the International Paper Mill of 
Natchez for 40-plus years. He loved spending time with his family and 
enjoyed fishing with his grandsons and gardening.

He died on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at St. Dominic Hospital.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Patricia Jones; his children, 
Michael Jones, Barbara Parker, Steve Jones and Jimmy Jones; his 
stepsons, Michael Dunaway and Jason Dunaway; six grandchildren, Jennifer 
Euwer, Candace Jones, Kyle Jones, Cody Jones, Laura Rivera and Graham 
Parker; his step-grandchildren, Jordan Coulter, Brody Dunaway, Coby 
Dunaway and Raley Frey; and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Roger Wade Jones; and 
his son-in-law, Steve Parker.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in his memory be made 
to Blair Batson Children's Hospital.
