Funeral services for Reba Lanell Cotten Smith, 93, a native of McCall Creek, were held at 2 p.m., Friday, April 8, 2022, at Riverwood Family Funeral Home in Brookhaven with interment in Riverwood Memorial Park.

Visitation was held from noon until the time of service on April 8 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Smith was born to Thomas Bluit Cotten and Colonia Octavia Lofton in McCall Creek on April 17, 1928, and passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 12 siblings; her husband, Warren Hewitt Smith; and her son, Warren Hewitt Smith Jr.

Survivors include a daughter, Belinda Smith Stamps and her husband, David; a son, Oscar Alan Smith and his wife, Cindy; a brother-in-law, Bill J. Smith; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Dee Cotten Heuvel; eight grandchildren, Paige Lammey (David), Cammie Mashburn (Robert), Jourdan Bullock (Josh), Nick Smith (Bethany), Andrew Malone, Jessica Malone, Bianca Branch (Scott) and Randy Smith; and 11 great-grandchildren, Jacob Lammey, Ella Grace Lammey, Nicholas Lammey, Kinley Mashburn, Jax Washburn, Luke Stogner, Oscar Ray Smith, Lila Spring, Andrew Culver, Noah Smith, and Patience Smith.
