SUBSTITUTED TRUSTEE'S NOTICE OF SALE
STATE OF MISSISSIPPI
COUNTY OF FRANKLIN
WHEREAS, Sarah E. Hughes executed a Land Deed of Trust on April 29th, 
2022 to Michelle Wroten Van Norman, Trustee, for the use of benefit of 
The William And Betty Johnson Family Trust, which Deed of Trust is 
recorded in the Office of the Chancery Clerk of Franklin County, 
Mississippi, as Instrument 72942, which Deed of Trust secured the 
payment of an indebtedness therein described; and,
WHEREAS, The William And Betty Johnson Family Trust, being the holder of 
said Deed of Trust, has substituted C. Ashley Atkinson in the place and 
stead of the original Trustee, and said Substitution of Trustee was 
recorded on April 2, 2025 as Instrument No. 78310 in the records of the 
Office of the Chancery Clerk of Franklin County, Mississippi; and,
WHEREAS, default has been made in the payment of the indebtedness 
secured by said Deed of Trust, and the holder has requested the 
undersigned to execute his trust; now,
THEREFORE, notice is hereby given that I, C. Ashley Atkinson, 
Substituted Trustee, shall on the 9th day of May, A.D., 2025, between 
the hours of 11:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., being the legal hours, from the 
main front door of the Franklin County Courthouse in Meadville, Franklin 
County, Mississippi, offer for sale at public outcry and shall sell to 
the highest and best bidder for cash the following described real 
property, lying and being situated in Franklin County, Mississippi, 
to-wit:
Lots 19 and 20, and the North Half of Lot 18 of Block No. 9, Town of 
Bude, Franklin County, Mississippi, together with all improvements 
thereon. This conveyance is made subject to a mineral reservation 
contained in a deed from Central Lumber Company dated August 15, 1994, 
and of recorded in Deed Record Book Y-3 at Pages 224-25 of the 
conveyance records of Franklin County, Mississippi.
ALSO:
That certain non-exclusive permanent easement for road right of way 
purposes conveyed by Mary Seale Etherdige to Edith Cooley, for life, 
with remainder to Minnie C. Parham by EASEMENT dated August 17, 1999, 
record in Deed Book 1-10, Pages 384-386, reference to which is hereby 
made for all purposes.
I will convey only such title as is vested in me as Substituted Trustee.
This is an attempt to collect a debt and any information obtained will 
be used for that purpose.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Franklin County Board of Supervisors, 
Meadville, Mississippi, will receive written sealed bids until the hour 
of 9:00 am local time on Monday, June 2, 2025, at the office of the 
Franklin County Board of Supervisors located 36 Main St. East, 
Meadville, MS 39653 (601-384-2330) for the furnishing of all labor and 
materials, and for performing all activities specified in the Contract 
Documents, for the construction of the Bogue Chitto Road / Middleton 
Creek Road Chip Seal. 
The project includes the Chip Seal – base and seal coat of 
approximately 2.25 miles of existing County Roadway. The Contract Time 
will be forty-five (45) consecutive calendar days, and the liquidated 
damages will be $100 per consecutive calendar day thereafter.
Plans, contract documents and proposal forms are on file for public 
inspection in the office of the Franklin County Board of Supervisors, 36 
Main St. East, Meadville, MS 39653, and in the office of the Engineer, 
WGK, Inc., 204 W. Leake St., Clinton, MS 39056 (601-925-4444). All 
documents required for bidding purposes, including specifications and 
plans, may be viewed for free at www.wgkengineersprojects.com. Documents 
may be downloaded for a non-refundable charge of $75. Hard Copies are 
also available for ordering online for a non-refundable fee. For

accepted through use of the www.wgkengineersprojects.com website. 
Bids for this work will be accepted only under the name of the Bidder to 
whom the Contract Documents and Addenda, if any, have been issued by the 
Engineer. Bids received by bidders to whom the Contract Documents were 
not issued by the Engineer will be returned unopened.
State law requires a non-resident bidder to attach/include a copy of his 
resident state's current law pertaining to such state's treatment of 
non-resident contractors with their bid. Any bid submitted by a 
non-resident contractor which does not include the non-resident 
contractor's current state law shall be rejected and not considered 
for award. 
All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the hour of 9:00 am 
local time on Monday, June 2, 2025, at the office of the Franklin County 
Board of Supervisors located 36 Main St. East, Meadville, MS 39653. 
Bids will be considered by the Franklin County Board of Supervisors at 
or before the next regular meeting thereof to be held within thirty (30) 
days of the date of receipt of bids.
The Franklin County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to waive any 
and all informalities in the bidding and to reject any and all bids.
