Annie Marjorie Herring

Funeral services for Annie Marjorie Herring, 88, of Meadville, were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville with a graveside service following at 4:30 p.m., at Carson Springs Baptist Church in Sandy Hook with the Rev. Tony Mullins officiating.

Visitation was held from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday, April 2 at Franklin Funeral Home.

Mrs. Herring, who was an LPN in Bude until her retirement and a member of Hopewell Baptist Church, was born to Otis and Bertha (Thomas) Stogner on March 4, 1934, in Tylertown, and passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, surrounded by her loving family at her Meadville home.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother; a sister; and her loving husband of more than 50 years, James Thomas Herring.

She is survived by her daughters, Jacqueline Herring and Tanya Huff; her three grandsons, Lynt Herring, Lance Carroll, Tristin Huff (Rylee); her four great-grandchildren, Allisyn Diaz, Eli Carroll, Bella Carroll and Brylon Huff; her nieces, Shirley, Cindy and Susan; her nephew, Bruce; and her special friend, “Sarge.”
