Funeral services for Ray D. Ramsey, 96, of Smithdale, were held at noon on Monday, March 14 at Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Summit with Pastor Oliver Smith officiating.

Interment was in the Rose Hill Church Cemetery in Smithdale.

Visitation took place from 10 a.m., until the time of services on Monday, March 14 at the church.

Mrs. Ramsey was born Oct. 25, 1925, in Amite County, and passed away on March 9, 2022, at her residence.
