'Shop the Block' event slated in Bude Saturday, March 26

The highly anticipated “Shop the Block” event will return to downtown Bude from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, March 26.
Franklin County Baptist Association Director Wes Arnold and Kristie Jones are once again spearheading the shopping and entertainment event.
Previous “Shop the Block” gatherings have featured multiple vendors and activities for the entire family.
“We’re in the process of seeking those who would like to take part by displaying their arts and crafts as well as handcrafted or homemade items for sale,” Arnold said of this month’s program.
“In planning the program, we also want to encourage those who might want to set up as food vendors — especially our local churches — to consider joining us.”
The gathering will take place in the vacant lot across from Home Hardware Center in Bude with ample parking along Main Street and Railroad Avenue.
Those seeking information on the event can call Arnold at 318-230-0626.
Vendors interested in acquiring a booth space — offered on a first come-first served basis — can contact Jones via email at kristieleigh75@yahoo.com.
