Funeral services for William A. Moore, of Hammond, La., were held at 1 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 24 at Hebron Baptist Church in Smithdale with the Rev. Cletus Moak officiating.

Interment was in the Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation was held from 11 a.m., until the time of service on Thursday, Feb. 24 at the church.

Mr. Moore, who passed away on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022, at his home, was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Lavon Moore; and his two brothers, Lonnie and Donald Moore.                                                        

Survivors include his two sisters, Marjorie Moore of Hammond, La., and Joyce White and her husband, Tom, of Orleans, Ind.; his two brothers, Gary Moore of Paoli, Ind., and Ronald Moore and his wife, Diane, of Magnolia; his numerous nieces and nephews; and his great-nieces and nephews.
