Funeral services for Virginia A. Dillon, 83, of McComb, were held at 2 p.m., Friday, Feb. 11, 2022, at Sharkey Funeral Home in Summit with Brother Shan Van Norman officiating.

Interment was in Middleton Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Franklin County.

Visitation was held from 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022, and from noon until the time of service on Friday at Sharkey Funeral Home.

Mrs. Dillon was born to Bonnie Roberts and Nona Mae Roberts on Dec. 3, 1938, and passed away on Sunday, Feb. 6, 2022, at Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe Cleveland Dillon; her son, Teddy Dillon; her daughter, Carla McNemar; and her four sisters, Mary Whittington, Bonnie Gail Hughes, Doll Bateman and Linda Swims.

Survivors include her son, James Dillon and his wife, Lisa, of Richton; her sister, Joann Kirkland; her four grandsons, Nevada Watts and his wife, Caren, of Smithdale, Joseph Watts and his wife, Kelly, of Summit, William Dillon and Shaffer Dement; her three granddaughters, Sonya Maniscalco, Debora Nations and Kala Landrum; 13 great-grandchildren, Christian, Adelia, Courtney, Anthony, Brady, Gabby, Kylie, Tripp, Holden, Hayden, Henley, Addi, and Emma; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
