Myron "Ron" Davin Skelton

Funeral services for Myron “Ron” Davin Skelton, 69, of Bogue Chitto were held at 2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 28, 2022, at Riverwood Family Funeral Services.

Interment was in Concord Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation was held from 1 p.m., until the time of service on Friday, Jan. 28 at the funeral home.

Mr. Skelton was born to Clifford Carlton Skelton and Ruby Huffman Skelton on May 12, 1950, and passed away Monday, Jan. 24, 2022.

He was a Vietnam War veteran, served his country in the United States Air Force from 1970 to 1974.

He also worked as a purchasing manager for Keystone Seneca and was a member of Ramah Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brothers, Carl, Johnny, Robert, William and Mack Skelton, all of Greenwood, and Jerry Skelton of Greensboro, N.C.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Shelia Montgomery Skelton; his son, Kevin Skelton and wife, Becky, of McCall Creek; his daughter, Tera Heathcock and husband, Wylie, of Bogue Chitto; his five grandchildren, Lexie Smith and husband, Charles Wayne, Braylei and Macey Steele, Gunner Smith and Chloe Skelton; and his brother, Ernie Skelton of Grenada; and five bonus grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
