Silver Alert issued for local man

A Silver Alert has been issued for a Franklin County man.

According to the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation, Benjamin Wesley

Gardner, 50, of McCall Creek was last seen on Wednesday at about 12 p.m.

in the 1300 block of McCall Creek Road in Franklin County. He was last

seen wearing a hunter-green jacket jeans and a ball cap.

He is described as being 5 foot, 8 inches tall, weighing 135 pounds. He

has brown eyes and hair that is brown and grey.

Family members say that Gardner suffers from a medical condition that

may impair his judgment.
