Virginia Lee Havard Wooten

Funeral services for Virginia Lee Havard Wooten, 87, were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022, at Riverwood Family Funeral Services in Brookhaven.

Visitation was held from 12:30 p.m., until the time of service on Saturday, Jan. 22 at the funeral home.

She was born Feb. 3, 1934, to Lawrence Havard and Grace McKey, and passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022.

Mrs. Wooten was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, and loved traveling, camping, fishing, sewing, eating out with family and friends and taking pictures with them.

She will be missed by all who loved her.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Charles “Charlie” Wooten; her daughter, Carol Wooten Culver, her granddaughter, Regan Nicole Gagliardi; and her brothers-in-law, Buddy Sansing and Harold Jackson.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Ronald Wayne Wooten and Thomas Charles Wooten; her brother, Robert Havard, and his wife, Marilyn; her sisters, Hilda Sansing and Shirley Jackson; her eight grandchildren, Jackie Lynn Duck, Tommy Jack “Bubba” Klar Jr., Dedrick Wooten, Daniel Culver, Jacob Dylan Wooten, Adam Kendal Gagliardi, Chandler Gagliardi Willis and Bryce Evan Gagliardi; and her great-grandchildren, Brady Foster and Emma Grace Duck.
