Funeral services for Betty Lee Edwards, 87, of Meadville, were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022, at Middleton Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Meadville with Tom Griffin officiating.

Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Visitation was held from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, Jan. 21, 2022 and from 1 p.m., until the time of service on Saturday, Jan. 22 at Middleton Creek Primative Baptist Church.

Mrs. Edwards was born to Claude and Lena Causey on July 15, 1934, in Franklin County, and passed from this life on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022, at her residence.

She enjoyed family, friends and flowers. She was a loving wife, mother and friend, and was also a faithful member of her church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Charles Edwards; her sister, Doris Halford; and her brother, Marvin (Sonny) Causey.

Survivors include her sons, Jimmy Dale Edwards and wife, Wanda Gail, of Meadville, Larry Wayne Edwards and wife, Missy, of Meadville, and Chuck and Wanda Sue Parker of Natchez; her sister-in-law, Mary Trimm of Jackson; her four nephews; her one niece; her five grandchildren; her nine great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
