Funeral services for Dellar Mae Harris, 87, of Roxie, will be at 2:30

p.m. on Saturday, June 10, 2023 from Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church

in Kirby. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, June 9, 2023 from

R.E. Tyler Funeral Home in Brookhaven.

Following the funeral service, interment will take place at Hunt

Cemetery in Roxie.

Harris died on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at her residence, surrounded by

her loved ones.

She was formerly the owner of the Westside Drive Inn in Meadville.

CALVIN LAVON CAUSEY, SR.

May 15, 1943-June 4, 2023

Funeral services for Calvin Lavon Causey, Sr., 80, of Meadville, were

conducted on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from Middleton Creek Primitive

Baptist Church in Meadville, with Brother Leon Wallace officiating.

Internment followed at Middleton Creek Primitive Cemetery.

Born in Meadville on May 15, 1943 to the late Charlie Louise and RosaLee

Prather Causey, he was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy. He was

a loving Father, PawPaw, PapPap and friend. He worked as a Deputy with

the Concordia Parish (La.) Sheriff's Department, was a retired Diesel

Mechanic of Taylor Equipment and a member of the Chapter G Motorcycle

Club.

He loved spending time with family and friends, riding his motorcycle,

camping and traveling.

He died on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at Forrest General Hospital, surrounded

by his loved ones.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Sonny and Sandy Causey of

Meadville; his daughter and her fiance', Sheri Drane and Todd Savage

of Dulac, La.; his grandchildren and their respective fiance's, Sierra

Causey and Andrew Franks of Winnsboro, La., Kyla Drane of Ferriday, La.,

Suzanna Rasberry of Meadville and Michael Plugge of Meadville; his

great-grandchildren and their respective fiance's, Maddi Smith,

Trenton Delaune, Bryce Causey, Brantley Causey, Bubby Jr. Wallace,

Brittany Wallace, Austin Wallace and Kellie Torrez; his brothers and

sisters-in-law, Roger and Kay Causey and Wesley and Darnell Causey; the

mother of his children, Faye Causey; and a host of nieces, nephews and

many special friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Louis and RosaLee

Prather Causey.

Pallbearers were Andrew Franks, Shawn Thibodeaux, Wade Wallace, Stephen

Causey, Todd Savage, Wayne Matthew, Michael Foreman and James Nevels.

Honorary pallbearers were his great-grandsons, Bryce Causey, Trenton

Delaune, Brantley Causey, Bubby Jr. Wallace and Austin Wallace; and his

great-granddaughters, Maddie Smith and Brittany Wallace.

JOHN THOMAS MULLINS

March 4, 1935-May 29, 2023

Funeral services for John Thomas Mullins, 88, of Roxie, were conducted

on Thursday, June 1, 2023 from Roxie Baptist Church, with the Revs.

Jamie Wallace, Vance Windom and Tyson Windom officiating.

Interment followed at Roxie City Cemetery.

Born on March 4, 1935 to Franklin Mullins and Hazel Whitehead Mullins,

he was a life-long Logging Contractor and greatly loved what he did. He

also enjoyed waterskiing, fishing and all sports. He especially loved

watching his children and grandchildren play their respective sports.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

He died on Monday, May 29, 2023.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Janice Mullins; his sons and a

daughter-in-law, Tony and Jena Mullins and Brad Mullins; his

daughter-in-law, Ramona Mullins; his grandchildren and their respective

spouses, Ryan Mullins, Danny and Kristen Mullins, Kin and Shelby

Mullins, Karlee Mullins and Kolby Byrd, Hoby and Calin Mullins, Zayne

Mullins, Brant Mullins and Elise Mullins; his great-grandchildren, Jamie

Mullins, Adalynn Byrd and Ollie Mullins; his sister-in-law, Earlyn

Mullins; and a host of family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Franklin Mullins and

Hazel Whitehead Mullins; his brothers, Allen Luther Mullins and Charles

Mullins; and his sisters, Jimmie Ruth Garner and Juanita Mullins.

Pallbearers were his six grandsons --- Ryan, Danny, Kin, Joby, Zayne and

Brant Mullins.
