Graveside funeral services for Ruth Wentworth Holland, 98, of Natchez, were held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 16, 2021, at Midway Cemetery in Meadville.

Mrs. Holland was born to Bill Wentworth and Daisy Godbold Wentworth on Aug. 1, 1923, in Meadville, and passed from this life on Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Paul Holland; her son, George Michael Holland; her daughter, Deborah Ann Holland; her grandson, Christopher Edward Bourdin; her twin sister, Neoma Wentworth Foy; her brother, James Wentworth; and her sisters, Irene Wentworth, Mattie Maurice Emfinger and Alene Wentworth Hudson.

Survivors include her daughter, Karren Holland Ewing of Natchez; her son in law, Edward Bourdin of Natchez; her granddaughter, Mandi Bourdin Thornton and husband, Jeffery Thornton, of Winnsboro; her great-grandchildren, Adam and Lexie Thornton; her great-great-granddaughter, Adaline Linder; and a host of nieces and nephews.
