Betty Nell Weeks

Memorial services for Betty Nell Weeks, 77, of Smithdale, were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021, at Calvary Baptist Church in Smithdale.

Mrs. Weeks was born to Elishia Lee Rollins and Velma Lucille Rollins on March 1, 1944, and she passed from this life on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021, at her residence.

Mrs. Weeks was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her siblings, J.C. Rollins, Tommy Rollins, Ellouise Price and Donald Rollins.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Richard Owen Weeks; her son, Lawayne Whittington; her daughters, Tanya Cloy and husband, David, and Tina Ervin and husband, Charles; her five grandchildren, Cody Cloy, Amber Spring, Levi Whittington, Kayla Anding and Blythe Whittington; and seven great-grandchildren.

Riverwood Family Funeral Services of Brookhaven was in charge of arrangements.
