Funeral services for Kenneth Gary Lehmann, 68, of Roxie, were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 14, 2021, at Greendale United Methodist Church in Franklin County’s Oldenburg community with the Rev. Tyson Windom, the Rev. James Hunsucker and the Rev. Tony Mullins officiating.
Interment followed in the Greendale United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Visitation was held from 9 a.m., until the time of service on Saturday, Aug. 14 at the church.
Mr. Lehmann was born to Mr. Kenneth Lehmann and Mrs. Lois Grace Lee Lehmann in Coushatta, La., on June 20, 1953. He passed from this life with his loving family by his side on Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2021, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven.
He loved people and fellowshipping with people. He never met a stranger and easily made friends with people he had never met before.
He had a very joyful attitude and brought happiness to everyone.
He was a mentor to many and was always willing to lend a hand to assist others with problems.
He was best known by his family as a very loving husband, father and grandfather.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his, daughter, Lisa Ann Lehmann; his son, Christopher Allan Lehmann; his brothers, infant James Lehmann and Grady Lehmann; and his sister, Sallye Lehmann.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Diane Lehmann; his daughter, Carol Lehmann of Roxie; his sons, Caleb Lehmann and wife Kara of Roxie and Patrick Lehmann of Roxie; his grandsons, Tucker Nations and Jameson Pannell; and a host of very special nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Pallbearers were Paul Dunson, Patrick Lehmann, Dillon Holmes, Earl Keith Jr., Keith Wollerson and Tommy Combs.
