Funeral services for Kimbalee Suzanne Oglesby Cupit, 45, of Smithdale were held at 2 p.m., Monday, July 19, 2021, at Riverwood Family Funeral Services in Brookhaven.
Interment was in the Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation was held from 1 p.m., until the time of service on Monday, July 19.
She was born on Oct. 20, 1975, and passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2021.
She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church and was a graduate of Franklin High School where she was a member of the band. She was also involved in gymnastics and dance.
She was a graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College with a degree in art and computer programming.
She was a talented artist, and cherished taking pictures of her family and friends.
In addition, she loved to laugh and make people laugh and smile, and never met a stranger — living life to the fullest.
She always said her greatest blessings were her children and grandchildren. And above all, she loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Kimbalee worked at Herring Gas and Franklin County Memorial Hospital until she had to retire due to MS.
She was a strong woman of faith and never gave up.
Preceding her in death were her paternal grandparents, Linfield Lennox Oglesby Sr., and Louise McGehee Oglesby; and her maternal grandparents, Roy Linton-Smith and La Juana Linton-Smith.
Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, Danny Oglesby and Paula Dillon; her step-father, Johnny Wayne Dillon; her son, Tyler Cupit; her daughter, Emily Delozier (Dutch Peeples); her brothers, Heath Oglesby, Jonathan Myers (Britton) and Matt Dillon (Kelly); and her two grandchildren, Benjamin Cameron and Huxleigh Peeples.
