A public celebration of the life of Patsy Flowers Lindsey, 78, of McComb, will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 10, 2021, at New Covenant Presbyterian Church at 7133 Enterprise Road in Summit.
She was born to Bertram Felix Smith and Irene Beck Smith on April 12, 1943, and passed away on May 24, 2021, at her residence after a battle with multiple types of cancer.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Earl Flowers; and her brothers, Bertram Felix Smith Jr., and William Larry Smith.
She is survived by her husband, David Lindsey; her daughters, Christy Flowers House and Cindy Flowers Pocs; her son, Robert E. Flowers; her grandchildren, Shelbi Renee Peacock, Garrison James House, Shea Louise Alford, Savannah Marie Kershaw, Ashley Renee House and Cecil Conner Kershaw; and her sister, Sue Smith McCleary.
Pat’s remains will be cremated and buried in an intimate gathering of immediate family.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to “Wiggin’ Out” in her name.
“Wiggin’ Out” is an organization which raises money to provide wigs, headwear, lymphatic garments and prosthetic bras to underprivileged women, men and children battling cancer and who have little to no support.
