WESSON — Copiah-Lincoln Community College has announced it will host a series of summer athletics camps for area youth, including golf, cheerleading, soccer and tennis.
Here is a summary of the planned activities:
• GOLF SUMMER CAMP — Monday, June 14 through Wednesday, June 16 with first through sixth graders taking part from 9 a.m. to noon and for all others seventh grade and beyond participating from 1 to 4 p.m., at Wolf Hollow Golf Course in Wesson.
The cost of the camp is $120 per participant and the cost covers the cost of a camp T-shirt, drinks and range balls for practice.
Campers are asked to bring their clubs, sunscreen, water bottles, hat/visor and golf balls.
• “LIL WOLF” PEE WEE CHEERLEADING CAMP — Wednesday, June 23 and Thursday, June 24 for youth ages 3 to 10.
Participants will be divided based on their grade and abilities for the program, which will focus on dance, cheer and chants.
The cost of the cheerleading camp, which is hosted by the Co-Lin cheerleading squad, is $50 per participant.

• SOCCER CAMP — Monday, July 12 through Wednesday, July 14 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Co-Lin soccer field.
The program is open to those between the ages of 4 and 14, and the cost of the camp is $100 per player.
• TENNIS CAMP — Monday, July 12 through Wednesday, July 14 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Co-Lin tennis courts.
The camp will be open to those between the ages of 6 and 12 (first through sixth grades).
The cost of the camp is $80, which covers the cost of a T-shirt, snacks and drinks.
Participants are asked to bring their tennis racket, water bottles and well-fitted tennis shoes.
There is a Friday, July 2 deadline to sign-up for the tennis camp.
