Graveside service for Mrs. Julia Ann Moon, 81, of Roxie, were held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2021, at Wintergreen Cemetery in Port Gibson.
Visitation was held from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021, at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville.
Mrs. Moon passed from this life on Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2021, at her residence with her loving family by her side.
She was born April 11, 1939, to John B. Arnold and Nora Edna Arnold in Port Gibson.
With her faith being such a strong foundation, she was a dedicated member of Cranfield Baptist Church, and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and wonderful friend.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her spouse, Jerry Aldene Adams; and her sister, Vivian Kay Abercrombie.
Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Jerry Joe Moon; her children, Cynthia Wardell and husband, Michael, of Elm Grove, La., Paul Adams and wife, Kellie, of Dover, Tenn., Vicky Gresham and husband, Greg, of Waverly, Tenn., and Wendy Pigford and husband, Mark, of Chelsea, Ala.; her grandchildren, Natassia Brown, Jeremy Adams, Brandon Adams, Michael Wardell, Kelsie Wardell, Tara Wardell, Bradley Gresham, Kelley Hunter; 7 ¾ great-grandchildren; her step-sons, Ricky Moon and wife, Cherry, of Hattiesburg, Darryl Moon and wife, Nancy, of Jonesville, La., and Tony Moon and wife, Brenda, of Frogmore, La.; her brother-in-law, Paul Henry Moon of Edwards; her sister-in-law, Joy Anne Heard of Frogmore, La.; and a host of family and friends.
Pallbearers were Michael Wardell, Greg Gresham, Mark Pigford, Jeremy Adams, Ricky Moon, Tony Moon.
