Funeral services for Tommy Ralph Hill, 85, of Brookhaven, will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2020 from First Baptist Church in Brookhaven, with Rev. Greg Warnock officiating. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2020 from Brookhaven Funeral Home, then again from 9 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2020 at the church.
Following the funeral service, interment will take place at Midway Cemetery in Meadville.
Born on Oct. 27, 1934 in Meadville to Tim Hill, Sr., and Eloyce Corban Temple, he was a member of First Baptist Church of Brookhaven. He owned and operated Brookhaven Honda for many years.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles, camping at the river, NASCAR races, motocross and his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.
He died on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2020 at UMMC in Jackson with his loving family by his side.
He is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Shanna Hill Pollard and racy Hill and Steve Wright; his grandchildren, Hope Pettigrew Carr, Robert Hill Pollard, Colbey Pollard Perry, Kelcey Pollard Davis and Stevie Ann Wright; his great-grandchildren, Charlie Ann Carr, Cooper Carr, Callum Carr, Ericson Perry, Anna Faye Davis, Cole Perry, Corban Pollard and Luke and Lane Davis; his brothers, Tim Hill and Van Temple; his sister, Gail Temple Bowen; and a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Faye Hill.
The family would like to extend a thank you to his loving caregivers who took great care of him — Bertha, Ann, Felice, Angela, Debbie and Pam.
